noticed in the last few days that the number of emms on the system has increased dramatically. is it possible to bloxk emm updates from peers using cccam. is it something to be concerned about. if i block emms will i get entitlement updates?

I have a peer that is connected, but suddenly cannot get ECM or EMM.

It used to work, but suddenly stopped.

Code:
+-----------------+---------------+------------+------------+-----------+-----+--------+----------------------+
| Username | Host | Connected | Idle time | ECM | EMM | Version| Last used share |
+-----------------+---------------+------------+------------+-----------+-----+--------+----------------------+
|Peer |xx.xx.xxx.xx |00d 20:53:53|00d 20:53:53|0 (0) |0 (0)|2.2.1 | |
+-----------------+---------------+------------+------------+-----------+-----+--------+----------------------+

All other peers are ok - they can clear channels. I have deleted them.

F line is
F: Peer word 2 1 1 { 0:0:2 }
I have different username for all connections.

The cccam with F line is now CCcam 2.1.4 server.

C line is
c: x.x.x.x 12000 Peer word yes

The cccam with C line was 2.1.1 . Changed it to 2.2.1 to test, but no change.

All my peers have the same F line and they have the same C line on their box.

It was working perfectly until very recently and appears to have just all of a sudden stopped working.

The box with c line is connected to the box with f line using the internet.

I plan to bring the c line box to my house, conencted it to the LAN and change the address from the dynamic dns address to the LAN ip to test. Then maybe reinstall the image.

Does anyone have any ideas what else i can do or test? Or what the problem is?

Thanks

load cccaminfo. if it says u have cards then u ar ok, otherwise!!!!

perhaps it would have helped if i had posted the entire list of conencted clients:

I am going to change user Peer to cccam 2.1.4 and also bring the box to my house to try and clear over the LAN.

I will post my findings.

Thankyou for reading.

quick update:

Checked config file and the dyn dns is correct.

I then changed the dynamic dns to LAN ip and conencted the box on my LAN. It works perfectly LAN to LAN.

I've advised my friend to get his internet connection checked, and to check his cabling. The dreambox can download menu updates, and plugins so it does seem to be ok. But I was thinking that if there was a line problem it may be more suspectible to errors for the ecms. I'm not sure !

Can anyone assist?
