Has anyone seen the new english language channels from Albania on Eutelsat w2 (16.0E)???

They are Tring Max, world, series etc.

Is it worth moving my astra 19e sat for these programs??

Does anyone know what they are showing ???

thanks

Nothing very exciting. They will encrypt soon - they are part of a new pay tv service

Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

Doesn't look like they are full time channels, Supersonic appears to be Conax encrypted and Vizion Plus has a dodgy audio track.

Why not get yourself a DiseqC motor.

To be honest there is nothing interesting FTA on astra 19 anyway.

I live in the South of spain and in winter in heavy rain (and yes it rains very heavy), we loose our sky signal.

So in winter we dont have any english channels which is a problem.

Can anyone reconmend any decent FTA channels that are non astra 28???

thanks

If you want general entertainment type fta English channels you need to get 28E.

There is a sprinkling of English news type channels around but no real entertainment stuff fta on other birds.

Covering 30W-105.5E range, two motors, C and Ku band. Various receivers/cards/cams/etc.

I checked - They broadcast quite newer movies, with albanian subtitles mostly and original soundtrack. Rarely - soundtrack is also albanian, but original one also available. Here I'm receiving 16E as multifeed with 13E - Signal quality is quite strong, to avoid rain fade almost completely.

We all have the same siz dish in the area, the rain that comes is african rain from storms that originate from the atlantica and come from the sahara.

Basically its like a monsoon for 3 /4 day solid and it actually moves the lnb and dish.
