Entering code in homecast

thank you very much for the answer. what do you mean STB setting? and do you know where can i get codes?

HI - I got the same reciver recently - and i want to know how to enter new code - for that you need to know the ((master key code)) for this reciver - I didnt understand dornol reply - i tried it and didnt work - hope some one help on this - and i will keep watching this page - thanks all

The master key is indeed 1-2-3-4. this is how you enter the STB key option: ​

  • press MENU
  • with the arrow keys go to STB Setting (but do not press enter)
  • press 1234 (again without enter)
Now you can choose the encryption key code you wish to enter.​
 
Thank’s very much ,It worked , and I will be thankfull if you till me from where I can get the code update for each system (Viaccess – Nagravision – Seca – Irdeto / BetaCrypt) , and if I can add more encreption systems like (Cryptoworks - Mediaguard - TPScrypt) to the current systems

I'm having Home Cast S2000, could you tell me the procedure to enter the NEW KEYS.

You already have the answer to that question - in fact you have quoted it in your post!

The important question of course is what are you trying to open using keys? Theres not much open in your part of the world
