EPG Information

Hi,

Firstly apologies if this a lame question

I have setup a DM800 with the Gemini image, everything is working great (apart from the noisy fan, which I know is common).

I have a couple of quick questions.

(1) When searching the Bouqets I dont see the current programme for a channel unless I go and view it, it seems the EPG information is not being loaded for all the channels. Is there a way to force this?

(2) I remember with the PLi image you could press the centre OK button and it would bring up the channel list, on the DM800 control it is the up button that brings it up or the TV button, how can you bring up a guide that shows you whats on each channel and lets you zap to the one you want to watch.

Any help for those questions will be appreciated.

You could use CrossEPG or download SatMate UK epg but not sure it's on the Gemini image?

I downloaded the latest Nabilosat Blackhole image, this has SatMate UK epg on it, and I can wholly recommend it (I spent ages trying to get a decent epg to work and automatically update on Gemini). Although I am a newb, so maybe I was doing something wrong

Use an image with builtin EPG support( Like Nabilo BH or DreamElite - both no more development) or go to _http://www.rytec.be and install his EPG - it is a very good EPG and currently kept well up to date. I think Pli or OpenPli also has his EPG builtin.
