For the past two weeks I have had problems accessing this website using Firefox. It starts to load okay but when I want to go to other sections on the site I am left with the following script in the bottom left corner of my screen. (googleleads.g.***********.net) it just stays like that until I exit the site. I have tried other web browsers and all works okay. Today I disabled Javascript as advised by Firefox and all is working as it was. Has anybody else reported this problem or is it at my end. Look forward to your reply in due course. Many Thanks. Disable JavaScript In rare cases, a web page may be using an external JavaScript file which is in the wrong format. Try disabling JavaScript - see JavaScript. If the page now finishes loading the bad Javascript file may be coming from: • a proxy filter that is incorrectly filtering that website's files. If you are running a proxy filter such as Privoxy, try disabling it. • the server. Contact the site administrator for that website.

Firefox here too .................... no problems at all.

Oddly enough, I installed the NoScript Extension myself a day or two ago, but not because of this site (Trying to stop the blasted Trusteer Rapport malware prompts coming up on Banking sites - successfully, I hasten to add!)

Tivu. Thanks for the swift reply to my query. My end then!

Would suggest clearing cookies and cache files as they can get corrupted

Topper. No wish to spam the site with thanks. But have done as you have suggested. When I re- enable Javascript I am back to square one. Back to the drawing board for me.Thanks for your valued suggestion anyway .I will get to the bottom of this problem one way or the other.

Have you tried another browser?
Check if you're running the latest version of firefox, and have all the updates, including Java updates.

Or do as I have done (for the reasons stated earlier) and install NoScript: This means you don't have to universally stop or allow scripts.

It's dead easy to use and really very effective.

Just a few moments blocking/unblocking listed elements will identify the rogue scrip and you can then permanently bin it without losing other functionality.

Sorry that did not work Dave, I use Chrome now because FF was giving me similar problems, I have been using it for probably a year now and would not go back to FF

Thanks gents for all your reply's.I definately know that I have not got the most up to date version of Firefox installed. I was just looking at Noscript on the web and will be installing this tomorrow when I have more time. Will also look at the Firefox versions as well. There is a lesson to be learnt here. But I must confess that while things are functioning okay why change anything. Will report back with my findings. Many thanks.

I am using firefox and have the exact same problem. Refreshing sometimes fixes it

I've just installed firefox to test browsing this site and didnt get any errors. Which pages do you get the error on or is it all the site ?

I only ever use Firefox and Ive only seen one minor error tonight - the style sheet didnt load at one point so all the links were there but the site "look" was all wrong.

A quick refresh sorted that out, and that was almost certainly down to my ropey bb connection.

As promised I did say I would report back on my on going situation. I am pleased to advise all members who contributed to my post that the problem has now been resolved. To those that I did not respond to last night here goes. Chris the error was on the total site not just one page. I decided to take the belt and braces approach and install everything. Now all is running as it should. Micka I installed the latest version of Firefox and the latest version of Java as you advised thanks. Tivu I installed the No Script Extension program as you advised thanks. The situation I created was totally my doing and nothing to do with the running of the website. A big thumbs up and thank you to you all for your guidance and showing me the error of my ways. Keep up the good work fellows it’s much appreciated.

Great to hear you are sorted GD - thanks for letting us know :)

So can we expect a request for a change of User Name?

Just wondering if Grumpy has got anything to do with it .Makes you think doesn't it. The lads are 1-0 up against Fultham as I type. Regards.
