Es'hail 2 25.8°E channels

here in Slovenia, the measuring instrument shows the presence of a signal, but not enough to lock it. But there is no big difference in the coverage of the beam between you and me. However, I may only manage to lock it under good conditions in the future. Of course, congratulations on the catch.

Not moved the 2.4 for a couple of months due to winter storms etc .. so with decent weather here today .. thought i would give this a try .. Did not expect a result as the south to north signal drop off is usually very sharp with this satellite beam.

But to my surprise i got a result .... using Dr HD-F15 receiver .... from 2.4 Channel master offset dish

FWIW, I get absolutely nothing from E'shail 1, which allegedly has a very similar footprint to E'shail 2.

Move the dish from 26°E slightly to the West, since Es'hail 1 is on 25.5°E.
Try the Al Jazeera SD transponder: 11604 H 27500 3/4.

Yeah, for every fringe signal, I nudge the dish back and forth, up and down

Locked too ... very marginal lock during night but that's an achievement with my CM 1.2m, before I only lock it with my CM 1.8m !

This beam is so hard to catch here, despite I'm living close to the official footprint, SNR varies from 1db in the morning to nearly 5db during the night ! Same thing with 8w low frequencies ... Bein sport frequencies too

finalmente stamattina ho avuto un po' di tempo per sostituire l'ultra twin nero con un megasat nei prossimi giorni vedrò se questo lnb funziona meglio
nel frattempo ho installato un vecchio lnb con il quale riesco a ricevere i tp sotto i 10700 e finalmente li trovo
poi ho installato anche un vecchio LNB in cui ho inserito una lamina depolarizzante per trovare il 56 est
qui invece tutti i tp sono bloccati tranne 2 che per il tbs non riesco a scaricare i canali ma a me li ha trovati
allora il tempo non è bello
tra poco proverò con il nero ultra in cui inserirò la lamina depolarizzante e vedremo i risultati
ma sicuramente passeranno mesi
per ora sono soddisfatto

finally this morning I had some time to replace the black ultra twin with a megasat in the next few days I will see if this lnb works better
in the meantime I installed an old lnb with which I can receive the tp below 10700 and finally I find them
then I also installed an old lnb in which I inserted a depolarizing foil to find the 56 east
here instead all the tp are blocked except 2 that for the tbs I cannot download the channels but it found them for me
so the weather is not good
soon I will try with the black ultra in which I will insert the depolarizing foil and we will see the results
but surely months will pass
for now I am satisfied

Es'hail 2 MENA beam is very special here... lower frequencies appears during the night, higher frequencies appears in day-time

Great catch with a 85 cm !
But 11676 V it's Es'hail 1, 25.5e.
For Es'hail 2, 25.8e you can try 10730H 30000 (at night) or 11430V 27500 (in afternoon) these frequencies are the most powerful here.

On some channels I can only receive the audio. It still looks like it's in test mode. It's not stable even at 7.0 dB.
