How are the beams for the broadcast channels on Es'hail 2 at 26E? Are they as tight as for its sibling at 25.5E?

Any reception in Europe other than Southern Europe?

Thanks, sounds promising. I might try it on my fixed 1.8m in the UK as my motorised has 26E blocked by trees.

From a Southern UK location I managed to lock two of the frequencies when I tried a few months ago. A couple of the others were present but not with enough signal to get a lock. The bein sports one was quite strong at the time I did the test and I managed a lock on it.

Thanks. I'm further North so might have less luck! BeIN are moving more channels over to it at the moment and all with 2/3 FEC which will be more favourable (see attached).

I have an official BeIN box and subscription on Nilesat and about 7.2db seems to be needed for lock and about 8db for a solid signal, the subscription works on Es'hailsat too so it would be good to try it on there.

Yes those frequencies that @moonbase posted look familiar to those I managed to lock on Esh2. Nowt from Esh1 - southern England seems to be in a null for it.

Today four transonders go

Yes. got all 6 of them from 25.8E
Thanks. If they move more channels to 25.8E then I might even give it a try (although without holding up much hope of getting much).

If you ever need an official BeIN receiver to try let me know as I have a spare with a subscription that can be activated.

my reception

the 11310 V 30000 is the weakest transponder in this area
