Agreed, it might liven up after dark. I was a bit taken aback when a snowcat went past levelling out a ski run. Not sure I'd fancy downhilling that close, though at least you'd be heading in the right direction...

Well on that webcam it looks more like a distant fart than an eruption and it is not stopping skiers rubbernecking at the top as can be seen from the picture

Yes that amazed me too. If you run the webcam through 24 hours at speed it looks like business as normal with all the skiers rushing around the place.

Not fake but....well, let's say the media made the most of what appears to be a mild eruption that has subsided quickly....makes a change from eruptions in other countries
