Hi friends ..
Can anyone tell me if there is currently anything on the European beam from Amazonas @ 61W ?
I think I read that there was a data transponder on this bird (KU).
I only want to see if I can push my dish beyond receiving the Tower on 58W..
..so purely out of curiosity ;)

Thanks for the speedy reply ...
I'm guessing then that my superior dark motor is stopping short of Amazonas at 60 deg West then ..
I tried last night to get to 61 deg ....but received nothing ...
Could you please verify Freq /SR /FEC of this data transponder ...and I'll try again this evening.
...but it may be my motor is hardware limited.

Hi Vipersan, did you ever get anything on Amazoas at all I wonder?.
Particularly useful with the recent demise of 58W

There used to be an active transponder here, post #22

Let me know how you do. If not I'll have a look a bit later.
