Interesting that the satellite linkup for the jury vote failed on 3 occasions. I cant remember that happening in a very long time. Was Russia jamming the connections? Or was it just tech failure??
 
I feel like Russia has to be responsible. This hasn’t happened in my memory.
Jokes on them. Ukraine won, UK second and will probably host on behalf of our friends.
 
Hosted in London with Ukrainian presenters. Sounfds perfect atm!

I did have a look at the Russian & Belarussian channels that normally carry EVSC. No pirating of the signals - would have been embarassing to see Ukraine win I guess :D

Yes they have been suspended from EBU but that never stopped anyone
 
As a Eurovision fan, It's nice to be able to watch the likes of Lorraine & Schofield eat their words when they usually preach "Europe hates us" following a contest. Just a few weeks ago, the latter tried telling Sam Ryder in his interview that it was potentially career damaging.

We never took it seriously until this year when a new team took over and the result proves what a positive attitude (and good artist/song) can do.

It didn't fail, i saw all 3 uplinks without any errors. No idea what was behind this problem. It was not a technical problem, signal was very strong on all 3 uplinks and audio+picture was perfect.
It was something else EBU didn't want us to know.

I got all voting uplinks that were uplinked via satellite, all uplinks had 0 errors and very strong signal on 7°E.

Fiber uplinks were all shown in the show and they weren't skipped.

Ah interesting - 6 countries had "irregular voting" in the jury votes & had their results anulled & replaced by "aggregated scores from countries with similar voting patterns"

Georgia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, San Marino & Azerbaijan - go and stand on the naughty step. :D

We may see the dodgy 6 suspended from the competion for 3 years - that punishment was threatened a few years ago when there were allegations of irregular voting
