What chances of receiving signal in the UAE then, anyone else have positive experience. Since C band is dropping end of May.

I am using a Gibertini 1.5 Dish. With this particular Freq I cannot receive it with a 1.2 m Dish, although the others Freqs of the sub saharan are receivable on a 1.2 Dish albeit not throughout the whole day. With the 1.5 m yes.

Hello!
i came back from thailand .on month ago,the told me ,there,maybe the swich off only the supersport channels,during the world cup in africa,because of the reason,that the have no rights,to spread the wm in there cable networks in asia for free!
then ubc true makes no money,here on my location,multichoice in kuband working very good with my 2,20 m tagra dish 24/h 7 days signal is strong enough,

in the package 191 channels are found,much more then in cband,but the problem would be,to get offical card,in europe,for kuband...!
on gregory 1,25m i only receive 5,of 10 transponders,in the night time,on day time all are gone!
with 1,80 m o my location,is signal to hard on the limit 2,20m okay for all channels! of multichoice !

I am told a 1.2m dish is good enough to receive multichoice in west midlands UK on the eutelsat w7 36degrees east. Can anyone tell me if this has worked for them or if it is true?

Hello,

all TV channels temporary in clear on TP 11977 H 27500 3/4 in DVB-S MPEG-2.

=================================================

EDIT: Hello Moradabad, please clear some space in your private message place!

Answer to Moradabad: I use now Inverto White Tech Universal Twin Flange LNB on my Kathrein PFA 2,20m. Before that I used Invacom Sigle Flage LNB. I have never tested yet Invacom Quad model C 120.

=================================================

Best Regards
Edgar.

I get very strong SNR and locked signal from 11862H(Sub-Sahara African), 11940H(African), 11977H(Sub-SaharaAfrican) with my Channel Master 1.2 here in Stockholm, Sweden.

My LNB skew is tweaked for Astra2D so i might get some more signal from 36 East, will tweak it tomorrow as i have some more transponders from Multichoice that are jumping SNR between 20-40% unstable.

Anyway, it's really interesting i get the African beam also, anyone get the African beam in Europe? it should be even more diffucult than the Sub Sahara beam.

Ok update! i have now tweaked the LNB skew on my dish on 36 East this morning with my Satlook Digital and i can get most Horizontal transponders now from Multichoice.

Problem is the "vertical transponders" from African and Sub-Saharan beams to get, the horizontals are no problems.

This is pretty amazing at my northern location in Scandinavia, even more amazing that i can get several transponders from the tight African beam that should be even more difficult than the Sub-Saharan beam.

Clearly it must be a strong sidelobe in my region.

Of course i get also Russian Beam, it would be interesting if you in the UK can get the Russian beam as you are way out of it's footprint.

Anyway i have enclosed the beams of Africa, Sub-Sahara, Russian.

hi - telia
i have wondered in the past about the reception of these beams here in the uk --
and i intend to try for them sometime --- i notice the transponders are K/U circular polarised -- most unusual --
i have a dielectric plate somewhere --- for the channel master offset feed --
and when the skies clear again, ( poor weather here today) i will try my luck with the 1.8 c.m. --

regards nelson.b.
