can someone post an image of the latest beam if available ?
not available yet , but it will be quite similar to that of HB 8 & 9 , because these 3 sats are identical in no. of tps , weight and coverage maps .

Very similar to 8 & 9 (13B & C) as they were designed to be identical

Do you get any channels from B & C?

we get here tp strong more then old 13a
old tp 10992v only 14.0 mer with 3.7m tested

Yes, some transponder were moved to HotBird 13D last night from 00:58 till 04:24 GMT.
The first spetrum 13.0E-RFScan_1166 was recorded before moving, all others recorded during switching.
Accordingly to my results, some of transponders in 10700...11700 MHz and 12500...12750 MHz range moved to HotBird 13D.

Signal levels are up for me this morning in Helsinki on some old 13A transponders.

I just checked all my spectrums for confirmation what transponders were moved. Here is the full list:

12520 V 27500
12597 V 27500
11075 V 27500
10815 H 27500
11200 V 27500
10834 V 27500
10873 V 27500
11054 H 27500
11117 V 27500
11137 H 27500
11642 H 27500
12539 H 27500
12558 V 27500
10853 H 29900
11013 H 27500
10992 V 27500
11179 H 27500
11662 V 27500
11034 V 27500
11096 H 29900
11585 V 27500
11623 V 27500
11681 H 27500
12539 H 27500
11278 V 27500
11317 V 27500

Transponders are listed by switching sequence order, not by frequency. This is all I can say by power change on the spectrum plots.
Seems all of TPs are moved from HB-13A to HB-13D. But also some switching was made with transponders which Flysat listed as HB-13C:
11278 V 27500
11317 V 27500

I dont think that the switch over was carried out last night , the increase in the signal power may be due to the slight shift of Hb 6,8&9 positions to adjust the position of the new member of Hot Bird family , HB 10 ( Eutelsat Hot Bird 13D ) , HB 6 is at 12.94 E now , HB 8 at 12.98 E & HB 9 at 12.95 E .

But that wouldn't explain the temporary loss of individual transponders as shown in tempo's spectrum scans. I'm also seeing a 1dB gain on some (not all) old 13A transponders here in Helsinki while others on B and C stay the same.

Has anything changed for you?

I've attached to this post all my spectrums registered during transponders moving. Just unpack them and watch as slide-show. On some pictures you'll see transponders switched off and switched on with some different power, and on another pictures the power of transponders suddenly jumps up or down without been switched off. This is because CrazyScan program takes about 70 sec between every spectrum scans, and if switching off and on was done quickly, then the program haven't time to register the moment of transponder's switching off.

P.S. My local time is GMT + 3:00 h.

When HB 13A moves to 8 west to be co located... Does this satellite have spot beams or wide beams? What I am trying to say will we be able to view the channels hear in Europe as opposed to Steerable Beams which Eutelsat 8 west has

This is the new footprint of Hotbird 13D

There are no known spot beams on 13A, but the question is how far south will the current wide beam be skewed, and if it's too far south it'll make it harder to receive in the UK. It shouldn't be long before we find out.

Flysat confirms now the switch over , Eutelsat`s website puts Hot Bird 13D as an ( operational ) satellites , and says aboute Hot Bird 13A that it is currently under " redeployment " .

signal is good in South india where as in North india earlier Hotbird 13A was strong now no signal in North india.

so its totally reverse situation in india

Sounds line a null running through the north and a sidelobe to the south?
