I am planning the reception of the Multistream channels of E5WB in spain, in the north of Madrid, "sierra de Madrid". I am planning a 1.2m dish to have some margins.

Pepeyeb, it seems that in Toledo, you are able to receive with a 1m dish when the weather is good. Have you enough margins when the weather goes wrong? Also it seems that you changes you receiver from octagon to edision. Did you notice any difference wrt the SNR?

For sure any other experience in the 49dBW area close to Madrid is welcome.

Hi Olive.

We received, near Toledo capital, the signal of the French MIS very well. The signal is pixelated when there is a lot of wind. But normally the SNR is around 90%.
The most difficult transponder to receive is the 11509 H. We managed to capture it with an Inverto Black Ultra LNB.
We receive the signal from the French MIS better than the signal from the Italians.

I prefer the Edision OS Mio 4K or the OS Mio + 4K to Octagon, for image tuning. The Edision is more responsive.

Thanks for the answer. I already plan a LNB inverto premium PLL. I think i will go to the 120cm dish to have margin, even if the mounting could be more tricky to avoid pixelisation especialy when there is a lot of wind.

gracias por contestar. Ya habia pensado a usar un LNB inverto premium PLL. Creo que ire por la parabolica de 120cm para tener algo de margen, aunque sea un poco mas critico el montaje para evitar pixelisacion cuando haya mucho viento.

I'm getting a good reception on the transalpine beam on a 98cm dish in central Scotland. I was quite surprised that it's without breakup but we'll see how it holds up. I don't have a multistream receiver yet to check those channels, but the Fransat ones come in well.

Seems to me like it’s been turned off!

Edit: It's still there, turns out the symbol rate has been changed to 35300, matching the new transponder on 11016H. I guess Rai are making changes ready for the DVB-T to DVB-T2 switch in Italy, presumably we will see some T2-MI at some point as this happens.

I have not received 11013 V for 2 days.
Possibly what you say will happen in the future.
In Kingofsat, but not in Flysat, at 12585 H it says that there is Mediaset Italia Due with T2-Mi. Has anyone checked?

Just checked now, the Primo only finds the two SPORTITALIA HD channels as listed by Flysat

Octagon SF 8008 only detects SportItalia HD.
If it were true that Mediaset Italia Due is at 5W, it would be Mediaset's return to that satellite.

Indeed,11458 H has left,and in its place is now stream IP,on 11457,260,3/4!

11461H is the same radio programmes as are encapsulated inside PID 101 on 11456H, but as "regular" MP2 satellite radio streams.

This new transponder with an increased symbol rate also carries the feeds for the two new French national DAB+ multiplexes which launch in October, the services on them are currently testing. This is on PID 301.
