Ka-Sat is a very specialised satellite. Instead of the usual broad transmission area she has 82 separate spotbeams covering smallish areas utilising the high frequency Ka band.

Note - the brownish footprint map shows the TOTAL coverage area. The map with the multicoloured blobs indicates better the individual areas.
