this thread is about the mathematics and practical application for the exponential horn design.

The mathematics is actually quite simple, with just three variables required to provide the dimensions of a suitable design base.

For low frequencies, such as general accoutics in loudspeaker design

Not exponential design, but one of the first journals where the horn antenna was used for microwave frequency stuff

11GHz operation at 45dB gain (equivalent to a good 2.0m parabolic antenna)
