Express AM22 at 53.0°E

Hi everyone,

I live in the UK Birmingham and I would like to receive this satellite, am I able to?

You can get the European & wide west beams on an 80 cm without too many problems.

I use a very battered and very second hand 80 dish for this bird. Signal drops out in poor weather but its ok most of the time.

I get a handful of channels from the S2 beam, but the signal powers are poor.

The S1 beam will need a big dish as its aimed way east of Europe..
 
Not possible in the UK via satellite.

However theres this operation:

various other Afghani channels are available in the UK via satellite though - I occasionally keep an eye on Tamadon as they have live European football on regularly in the clear.

53E S1 beam,
Asiasat
42E east beam.
Galaxy
Yamal
Insat

None of these are possible in the UK.

Ignore the ones on 53E S1 beam, Asiasat and the 42E east beam. None of these are possible in the UK.

I knew about AfghanIPTV but just found out that they have an android box, we may able to extract the APK file from their app :-rub then we can use on any android device.

in "north east of Iran" located in Middle East, I can watch TV Channels of Express AM 22 @ 52 East.
all Channels on "Wide Europe" and "S1" Beam with Dish size 92 Centimeter with good Signal's quality.

those channels mentioned such as "Pashto Tv & Ayna TV : frequency 11474 H" or "Arezu TV Afghanistan : frequency 11614 H" & "Lemar Tv : frequency 11496 H"
anyway i must tel you can't gain "Europe" beam or "S2" beam of Express AM 22 @ 52 East. maybe it needs dish size over 120 Centimeter.

also there is another Satellite called "Yahsat" in 52.5 East.
it is from United Arab Emirates.
here it has strong signals of "East" beam of Yahsat.
so i can gain TV channels from Express AM 22 and Yahsat all together.
in East beam of Yahsat there are some free HD TV Channels in English and Persian languages broadcast from United Arab Emirates.
those Afghan TV in that Russian satellite called "Express AM 22" are almost in Pashto & Dari language. Dari is so similar to persian language thus is understandable for Iranian Peoples.

Hi psx, yes you should be able to get press tv at 11W if you don't have any obstructions/depending of the size of your dish, how long it will stay there no one knows,

Press tv gets moved all over the place due to its content.
 
............... and intolerance from those who should know better.

I'm using the normal sky dish :)
