The transfer of Proton-M space rocket with the spacecraft Express AM8, to the launch pad, by Roscosmos TV.

Well according to RSCC, Express AM8 is in good health, and starting to sends signals to earth. :)
 
First TLE data for AM8 has appeared today:

Orbitron program shows the sat already on GSO at 88.7°E slowly moving to west.
By the official info (Доставленный на орбиту "Протоном-М" спутник "Экспресс-АМ8" введут в эксплуатацию в декабре) AM8 will be tested at 80,15°E.
The start of commercial service at 14°W planned to December.
 
The Russians mounted the satellite into a DM -03 booster which completed the journey after separation from Proton-M rocket ; this trick made it possible for Express AM8 to reach the geostationary orbit in less than 48 hrs. and reduced the launch mass to 2.1 tons only ; due to less fuel requirement .

The testing in C and Ku bands has started today. Test carrier 11554V is active at the moment
