How AM5 @ 140°E related to this thread? AM8 is still at 80.15°E in testing phase.

I dont understand... accroding tests they have chosen 10950-11200,11450-11700H/V range for Europe beam but 15W uses the same one. What is the point? Why not to choose 10700-10950 and 11200-11450? I am afraid it may cause some problems like 4W and 5W blocking each other in 11450-11700H.

P.S. check official Europe coverage map Экспресс-АМ8 (14° з.д.) and this one by one of feed providers http://www.romantis.com/en/satellite/coverages/am8
Which one do you like ?

We can follow the beacon in Cband

That is not telemetry the Express AM-8 (likely telemetry yamal 402).
Beacons 3850,00 R, 3850,50 L and 11199,50 R, they are beacons on station and will be turned on when they reach 14°W.
Unfortunately the telemetry during transfer/emergency... should be in S-Band.

Well, Marcus, you should be right, but here is my report:

Whatever it is, I can confirm, this is not 402, this signal is moving like AM8.
On the 22nd of october the signal was close to 66°E:

On the 24th of October the signal has moved to 60°E

Each of these reports have been confirmed by another DXer (@dx qwer ) .
Maybe not AM8, but for sure, there is a satellite which is moving slowly to the west since a couple of days.

Hi Feedsat_DXer, I checked and there is a signal at 3405,40 R where it should be the Express AM8.

There is also a similar signal at 11°W (Express AM44).

Probable telemetry of two satellites Express... control the course of the coming days, to check its path.

After following the movement of the telemetry signal to 3405,10 RHCP... seems confirm the Express AM8. Now is about 39,8°E....

The telemetry signal to 3405,40 RHCP, is the Express AM6.
