Hi friends ..
Just finished watching the 3rd episode of BBC3s latest ghostly drama 'The Fades'...
I have to say its well ...impressive..
An age old theme ...reworked with a modernistic slant ..
Well acted ...and produced.
Good v Evil
Ghosts and Angels..
With an appocalypse looming ...
but humerous in places and seen from the perspective of 2 friends ...one of which is ...well...more than human and has 'powers' ..which make him important in the scheme of things..

Nice one Auntie B ...
looking forward to the next installment
;)

Yes, been watching it myself, although tonight's episode is still waiting on the PVR for me.

I do enjoy all the little references to other TV programmes and films. Not quite self-referencing but fun all the same.

Hmm, wasn't aware if this one, will have to watch it on iplayer.

It did have a very low profile launch, (all advertising was completely overshadowed by the Doctor Who bombardment).

I've not seen it either, but if it's anything like Being Human, it will come round again on 'proper BBC', meaning an HD version might crop up around Christmas.

It's HD already. They shoiw it on the BBC HD channel at the same time as it has its first run on BBC Three which, from memory, is 9:00pm Weds.

Very true - but at least we have it on BBC HD at the moment!

I haven'twatched any BBC, or British, television for many years. Does the BBC still have the male only nudity editorial policy in place?

Do they still insist on showing the same scenes, in every one of their comedies, dramas and even family entertainment programs?

A naked man, or boy, usually caught in a public situation, using only their hands to cover their nudity.

A scene shot in a communal shower, or changing room, full of naked men, with a woman entering, for some reason.

Men being stripped, in front of women, often by losing a strip game, played against a woman, or being tricked into stripping naked.

A Man proudly stripping naked, and displaying his assets, in front of a woman, or group of women, another popular scene in BBC programs.

Are any of these scenes, or any scenes of male nudity, included in The Fades, or can I finally view a BBC program without seeing any naked men:)

Well you're not going to be pleased to know that there's a rear view of a naked man with wings then... :-rofl2

Well it can't be Clement Freud, as he has passed on. Is it Parky?

Still the same male only nudity then or is there any female nudity?
