A guy on ebay is offering new Pace 3100 (40Gb) Sky+ digiboxes for £179 inclusive of postage and all the bits. Does this represent value? I'm an existing Sky subscriber but new to Sky+

Thanks

simply digital will sell the box brand new with warranty. They'll also remove VAT if you're shipping to non-EU locations and they sell a cheaper version without LNB.

Their prices for pre-upgraded boxes are more than I'd pay - but of course I've opened my machine and slapped in a 120Gb drive....

Warranty for these machines is return to base though....

OK. I went and bought one on ebay. Seems like a good deal. I've got a mate who is wizzo at installing such things, so he'll set it up for me. Come the time he'll fit a bigger hard drive.

Cheers

Matt
