Finally made time to mount a pair of my Fibo's on the wall. :)

The council's trees were cutting 30W off, I thought they might notice if I took the tree down ;)

very nice, not seen them wall mounts around, did you make it ?

I picked it up of Ebay some time ago, lost the box now but from memory :confused:it's a quite old CM mount.

I use that wall mount as a ground stand for my 1M static dish. Bought it over 15 years ago for my SMW dish.

Are they still available ?

Edit - ah, from ebay.

Not seen any signs of them anywhere, It was one of those 'must have' items when I saw it on Ebay. :)

I recall that the instruction sheet that was with it, gave pics and instrutions for wall & ground mounting.

It took me a while to work out how best erect it (no instructions supplied). In fact I had the tube section the wrong way round first time!

Excellently made though.

Yes, one of my quirks :-rofl2

The Gregorian dishes with the orientation of the LNB's lend themselves to this layout, using a waveguide.

Puts the LNB where it is much more accessible to someone who is forever fiddling, much better shielding from the weather, better cable runs. :)

Yes it was very well made, I did strengthen the top part of the tube where the 'U' bolts go, as I thought that the tube would deform very easily, I welded some thick washers onto a 22mm tube to line up with the 'U' bolts and machined them to be a snug fit in the tube. I then welded the assembly in pos. I also used threaded rod straight through the pivot points.

It has ended up being quite rigid. :)

Very nicely mountedHumping

I like the way you have attached the 55cm directly onto the wall;) Very neat:cool::-clap

Very clever with the wave guides.(If your brave enough to drill your fibo!):-Nooo Im way too chicken!

I also have one of those C/master mounts, they are very good.
