[QUOTE="OldBen, post: 194864, member: 194242"] So, The dish went up in Jan... and I only just got around to posting my pics, which is a bit lame. Big thanks again to the person on the forum that helped me out (physically!) after I made a slight drilling error on the first attempt and decided I needed some help. You know who you are :D could not have done it without you, and still feel really bad that by the time we made it to the pub they had stopped doing food, DOH! :-DOH!:-DOH!:-DOH! For those that are interested the dish is made by Metronic, its a clear resin with a mesh in it and seems to perform pretty well. I can swing aobut 45E to 30W without hitting the roofline, but it had to go up above the roofline to get to 30W. I thought it looked big when it went up, but last weekend someone opposite had a 80CM mesh fitted and that looks huge in comparison, clear dish really makes a difference. Included some pics of the wall plate (B&Q, cheap) which also shows the cat5 I ran (ready for a reciever upgrade in future maybe!) but I have a technomate 1500CI+ at the moment. I bought a F-plate for the wall, but decided to just drill out a blanking plate and not add signla loss with a join in the end, for now anyway. Luckily there is a nice lamp that hides this long row of sockets when they are not posing for the camera! For the observant amongst you the plate bottom right corner has 2x 4pole Neutrik speakons in it and the wall end is joined to the cables under the floor for surround sound speakers. There is only one socket in use cause I only have 5.1 surround but I wired for 7.1 when I moved in and laid the floor. Nothing like a bit of future proofing ;) Only frustration is I cannot find the picture of the lounge with the TV and all the boxes under it, have to follow later when I find where I saved it.
