Fortec Star Passion+ reciever
My Location
Somerset. U.K.
I'm back again, my replacemnt reciever came pre loaded with:
Loader ver.1.5.0
Software ver. 1.0.7. (24 Oct 2008)
Can i put ver av127fs (10 June 2010) straight in, or do i need to do other firmware updates first?
Sorry to be pain in the a** but i dont want to kill the reciever again. thanks for any help. :confused:

Hello, you're not being a pain, people are here to help as well as share experiences like yours :D

I already had the December 2009 update in my box before I loaded in the June update. Try the December update first & make sure that's OK before proceeding with the June update.

You are using the Passion+ updates, NOT the Passion updates?

This info is from Fortecs download site and it looks as though if your on an earlier software you can update using June's update as it as incorporated Decembers and June into one package

Please ensure you load the correct software for the correct model as we have revised the software for all HD models.

Just nice to see the new software "helped" to get rid of some of the German HD channels' videos! Not like that problem wasn't there last year!
