My fs1 meter is indicating a lock on incorrect satellites. For example, when searching for a transponder on 30 west (frequency 12092 s/r 27500 L/O 10600 LNB 13 volts 22KHZ on) I get a lock when the dish points to 19.2 east with good signal and quality readings. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Thanks.

Your doing nothing wrong, and theres nothing wrong with the meter. There are identical frequencies in use on both satellites.

The meter is just going on what information it has stored on it. My FS1 does exactly the same.

Sky ITA - Not yet connected

Maybe better to manually alter the search parameters for something more unique. Look for an obscure Symbol Rate then it will only lock when it finds the correct signal. I have he same issues aligning Sky Italia, the 13E area of sky is so conjested, lucky a few of the Sky channels use odd symbol rates 29900 so east to pick them out

We will be doing a new Plan for these meters this month (REV 3.0), I will take a look at this then and try to find another freq not used by the 2 sats. (not always that easy though)
