first time installation call back

hi was wondering if the sky call back could only be used for first time installations .as it can take up to 48 hours to pair a card to a reciever over the phone.i was hoping i could use it for loan boxes while originals were being repaired.and upgrade boxes.if any one has tried it or know a quicker way to pair cards please let me know.
 
If it is an already paired card, then phoning them is the only way.

It is a pain, I agree, would save me a lot of time on service calls. :)
 
if the sky card only has the mix channels and no sport or movie channels then you can use it in any receiver you like
 
well that may help wod as its usually is sky plus boxes that pack up .and im installing a lot on the basic subs.now they have droped the sky plus subscripion.
