Fitting cable from dish to box

A basic question as I am a newbie regarding Satellite TV.
I had a dish put up about a year ago for my Humax HD box, according to the bill for installation a quad LNB was fitted.
I presume two of the quad would be used for my HD box so will I be able to use one of the others for a mono satellite box to anothe TV?
Also is this easy to do and would I be able to use normal TV aerial cable?

Depends if the Humax HD is PVR or not ...........

If it's not a PVR, then it only has one tuner and thus will have only one feed.

If it is a PVR, it will have two tuners and two feeds.

Being HD is, of itself, irrelevant.

Either way, you will have a minimum of two spare feeds so can fit either two single tuner boxes (SD or HD), or a further PVR (again, SD or HD).

As for cable, normal aerial cable will not do as it is too lossy at the frequencies used between LNB and Satellite Receiver. You should use double screened cable specified for Satellite use. It's easy enough to find.
 
For example wf100 or similar, screwfix do pf100 which is electrically equivalent. You can normally get wf100 by the metre from ebay.
