Have you tried everything!

Sending it for repair should be a last resort...
 
did every thing ...couldnot fix it
as i am relatively new... problem could be very simple
this is the file i used ...i thought it is image file...it is the cause of the problem

You will just have to get your null modem cable out and get it to connect to dreamup. Com 1or 2. Know you were having problems with this, so try and get some info on your com ports. Not great in that department. As I said the other day I used a Serial port on a desktop computer instad or a usb to serial on laptop. Make sure you disconnect everything from dreambox no scarts, lnb cable,usb. Only null cable to computer,with power switched off. Open up dream up and press connect, when prompted switch on dreambox. You should get the highlighted buttons to open then. You can press ping to see if your are connected to dreambox. Press erase image,Then open file. Use basic 109 image and off you go for a cup of tea when it downloads.
