Edit For someone who does not believe in science to be relying on science to get him off the ground he will no doubt get what he deserves, if I was a coffin maker I would be knocking on his door asking to measure him

This can be proved or dis-proved without going out and killing your self.

Step 1, go to the Bonneville salt flats. (on of the flattest places on earth)
Step 2, using a friend who is as tall as you stand back to back wearing an orange hat, also a pair of binoculars for each.
Step 3, start walking.
Step 4, every mile stop and look back, can you still see your friend?

At or about 5 to 6 miles you may or may not see the orange hat of your friend, it all depends on how tall you all are, at 7 miles you wont see your friend, if the Earth was flat you could see your friend all the way to the limit of your binoculars.

If you still think the Earth is flat then keep walking to the edge and look over, someone will come over and give you a push.

Step 5 , Check wind, it might have taken the hat off
Step 6, Check friend, he might have taken it off.
Step 7, Check if the pub is open.
 
Nah, it'll all add to his skewed view of reality. It'll be part of the great conspiracy to keep the flat earth "secret" from the rest of the world.
 
I'm guessing that this forum is a safe haven away from flat earthers?
 
Hahah, the world's gone mad.
I had to delete a few friends off Facebook as they were flat earthers! My feed was getting spammed with this nonsense.
