Antennas can be art

This antenna was found in a Italian forum (digital-forum.it), the antenna creator Constantinopiri said that the antenna is working for Hotbird and it weights around 40Kg.

My italian is very poor, so i didint understand how the antenna is made (probably a metal sheet is hidden somewhere)..or is it made 100% of stone??

If you look carefully at picture 4 I think you can see the edge of the (white) dish buried in the concrete

don't know what to make of that ... but if it works, wouldn't that look well in some conservation areas.

Looks like a Fracarro penta, embedded in concrete, maybe its fibre glass stuck on the front and painted to make it look like cement/rock.

Great idea though for a discreet dish.

That's what I was thinking, but very well done so it looks pretty realistic, I had to look at the pics a few times to make sure it wasn't real!!!
