I saw this on a feed yesterday, they didn't show that side of it though!

Whats that nasty brown stain just above the gondola ?
Perhaps they should actually have called it ...'The Skidmark ?
:D

Reminds me of my ex-gf............

Since it would be difficult and expensive to smash a bottle of bubbly on the side, is there a suitable cavity for prising a crown top ?

Not naming it 'Bumty McBumface' then??

Now that Sir David's name will be on the new survey ship, then maybe the name suggested at the top should be on a "special" balloon at your local village fete (like the robot submersible that will now carry the name Boaty McBoatface :))

Maiden flight yesterday. A little windy (sorry)...

Now that's going to scare the POOP out of anything it fly's over.

Nah. Give the Robot Wars boys a Drone and a Circular Saw and they'll have that Bum down in no time.

There's a memorial to the R101 in Allonne near Beauvais. It's right by the old RN1 and I pass it many times when travelling up and down France.

We're flying out of Beauvais in October. It's a shame but I don't think we'll have time to go and look...

It's not far at all from the autoroute access point so if you're driving there maybe you'll be able to squeeze it in.

Think we'll be coming into Beauvais from Rouen, via the D901. However, we are staying at a hotel near the airport for the night, so it may be possible...

Fell on its arse....
