fm antenna?

hi, i would like to get a better fm radio reception where i live. i'm currently not getting much more than the strongest stations with an indoor antenna that came with the radio (20cm of thin cable).

any chance of receiving fm radio with this. my guess is, it's only for tv?

if i have to get a new antenna, the ideal solution for me would be to use the existing tv wiring and split the signal into uhf and vhf in the living room. would that be possible?

You need a VHF aerial. The one in the link you supplied is UHF (TV) only. Options are either a omni-directional or directional aerial. Diplexing the the FM onto the downlead would be fairly simple with the use of a VHF/UHF diplexer and outlet plate.
 
Going back to the Triax site you need an FM aerial.

At the very least an omni directional would be better than your piece of indoor flex _http://www.triax.co.uk/Products/Aerials/FM%20Aerials.aspx?productId={DE05F665-53EB-417F-91C7-62BDD895DB40}&Tab=0

It's not the best design of aerial in the world and f you get all your FM signals from one direction then one of the directional aerials would be much better.
 
A number of radio channels transmit on Freeview (numbers 700 and upwards).What do you want to listen to ?
