Hang on,,,,,Hang on.

I manually input one channel …TV6 …and have been watching it.

But TV6 is at 19e is it not?

I have been trying to search 13e as that is where I thought my dish Lointed .

What a DUMDUM.

Right guys I’m down now you can start kicking me…..Wonder who’ll be first.

I bought a new motor recently, had a quick read through the set-up instructions and they are in nice plain English.

That is they enter my eyes as English but by the time they reach brain they are somehow translated into MONGOALIAN.

You can do it Razor. :) If it wasn't for the fact that I'm up to my eyes in work and am heading off to my sister's place in France for two weeks at Christmas, I'd be very tempted to pop over and help you.

What search options do they have on the Force receiver?

Hi Razor,
I have been unable to get through to Satellite web page till now. Read your reply that you had dish pointed at wrong satellite (I'm sure your not the only one) but how are you getting on with the D-Master now that it is pointed at Hotbird ?
Have you done a channel search yet ?
What did you get ?
What size dish are you using ?

Ok…As this is my last day in my job will have more time to spend getting this set-up ready. It’s amazing what 2 or 3 months on the dole can do for your sat system.

Might not be online as much as I have in the last while will be outside with the spanners and power tools.

One last thing, what is an LNB and do I need one?

A LNB converts the signal from the satellite to one that your receiver can understand.
YES you do need one.

Same as me Razor, always loved it here, not too busy, not too quiet, and a lot of interesting members, what more could you ask for? :) Well apart from a few LNBs. :-cheers

Just make sure it doesn't take over from real life....sitting there with an emaciated body and a sickly pallor, gripping your mouse for hours on end. Damn, who put that mirror there?
