I remember the othe half paying a small fortune a few years back for it. Supposedly the best there was in terms of flat screen stuff. But its a 4:3 ratio and DVI input attached cable. We now have cheap(er) screens in 16:9 that do what is needed. So is it time to take to the recycler, or is there still some reason to keep that I have not thought of.

No pixels have failed btw, which was normally the reason for exchanging/upgrading these at the animation studios.

OpenBox X5 on a 1 meter motorized dish.
And now a 10 foot "C" band dish.

Custom built PC

Deep in the Boonies in the central Sierra Nevada mountains of California.
Good to keep around if you ever have that need to smash something computer related with a baseball bat, or on the other side of the big pond a cricket bat.

I never throw the old monitors away (unless they are FUBAR) good for a backup if needed at some time.

Thanks, though I hate destroying something that has worked flawlessly throughout its life and is simply deemed ‘obsolete’.
