Does anybody have any experience of this receiver, I am contemplating buying this mainly because of the dual tuner and built in HDD facility fo recording.
Oh and by the way, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE:-hny
 
I have this receiver and it's 'OK'. Fairly cheap and cheerful interface - a little clunky in places. There's not a great deal of support out there for it although there are images available that include softcam updates etc - not managed to get any keys working in it though - I have a Dragon CAM so not too bothered. I've experienced a few problems using the box with Cryptoworks CAM in 1 slot and Dragon in the other - the main reason for getting the box was to have 1 tuner on 13E permanently and to use the PVR to record - of course if something goes wrong then it records nothing which happens often. Another annoying feature is that if a timed event is PVR'd and the box isn't on that satellite when it starts then it assumes there is no video input and the recording is corrupted!

For the above reasons I'm replacing the receiver as it's just not quite up to the job I need it to do. I would say FTA and without a motor it would be pretty good or if using the softcam maybe.
