i was given the fortec star5100 ultra yesterday and i need to know some settings if anyone can help please, i will try and get a sinal tommorow off 1west thor.and i want to make sure the settings are right on my reciever first.i have fixed dish with a single lnb.first.what setting should the lnb be on i.e.standard universal 1 or 2.next question disequ what should that be on tone a or b or 123 or 4.positioner setting usuals or off.any help would be appreciated.and thanks in advance

If you are already aligned on Thor, and you have working TP's for the satellite, it's quite straightforward.
Press Menu on your remote and move to the second icon on the top banner.
Go to Antenna Setup and make sure Thor is ticked. Have the parameters as in the attachment correctly configured. I've used Sirius as an example. Choose a working TP, and check the signal strength bars. Use these for aligning your dish if you need to adjust it. Otherwise you will need to adjust using a signal meter.
Other working TPs can be added using TP Edit in the Menu, or do a Power Scan.
