Forum software upgrade

Great !!
Looking like the "old times" now - EXCEPT that we still get ALL the bloody smilies when we just need to see the most commonly-used ones;)

PS: my main laptop virtually "blew a fuse " earlier this evening and shut down several times (hope it's still OK!) after I disabled most of the scripting and had a lot of IE11 tabs open on this thread). Thought it was the PSU, changed that but then the same thing happened about an hour later - so is anyone having anything like similar issues?

No problems here - and Im running a decade old Dell desktop. Its rather underpowered so I tend to see performance issues on the forum - the falling snow on the front page always nails this computer!
 
Well, it's still a lot better than the Lithium forum software vomited onto a lot of commercial forums...:-rofl2
 
No probs whatever.

This upgrade is a massive step forward.

(Except for those using Ctrl shortcuts on archaic technology hardware keyboards ;))

Is there another way of adjusting the layout to make use of the 50% of screen width currently unused(other than zooming)?
 
Tricky.

Even as Staff, the style selector has disappeared since shortly after the upgrade.
 
Some of the mod features are also missing (at least on iPhone)

I also can’t find the change the forum style option.

This takes a bit of getting used to.

Nothing archaic there. They're not called shortcuts without reason.

And Alt-S isn't working.
 
All seems to be "Fixed! :) Many THX to Chris for all his very hard work !!

But, FWIW, I still think it would be a lot better if members' equipment setups are put in their signatures as that reduces the "height" of each post - everyone, please think about that and make that change if you can.

Looks like it will be fine. Can read and post ! so the database is ok, what more can one (should one) ask for immediately after some major update\upgrade ?? :O) Good job.

Setup, messages, likes, location resurfaced lhs, and surely lots more that may be needed\wanted will be fixed over time.

The forum style seems to have disappeared for everybody except red hats - I can still see it....

Changing from the default screen is only available to Admins at present, sorry.

That mods not compatible with xenforo 2 yet that's why I waited until after Christmas for the upgrade. It will hopefully be back next year.

I've extended the maximum screen width, is that any better ?
