Fox gone. please help!

I am quite new to this sat stuff I have an echostar ad300ip with a dragon cam (with loader and fun 7 card) although I have never programmed it its on predator 310.
I have lost fox, fox life, cartoon ntwk and some discovery on Hotbird is it just me ? can I get them back by new keys or progamming please advise.
 
Hi mrminibus,
it is a key change and all you need to do is manually update your 0D key in your Dragon, unfortunately a lot of the sites are currently displaying an incorrect key, if you try here and scroll down to S*y Italia, you will find the correct key.

It's worth remembering that they change roughly once at month towards the end of each month. Saves you thinking the world has ended every four weeks! :)

The keys are often available well in advance. Make a note of what the various keys are at the moment for SI (can't say "and D+ and Cyf" anymore... :( ), and check about a week before on the various sites to see what's happening.

I now understand how to update sec* k*ys but do they all change ie
irduht*
negravisi*n
cl*nax
etc or is it just the ones iv'e just done? and what do you mean by
SI (can't say "and D+ and Cyf" anymore) I have no idea what this is

SI=Sky Italia
D+ = a previous pay tv provider
Cyf = probably Cyfra
 
Yes, they were the three S£CA 2 providers that were open, and they all worked roughly on monthly key changes.

Other providers are not so kind as to fit in with such a neat schedule!

D+ has since gone to 'N@gravision 3' (which is actually nothing of the sort) and Cyfr@ have applied an S2 fix which has still not been re-opened.

That's why I'm sad that I can't lump them all together anymore... :(

Cartoon network is also available on Hellas Sat 2 (39E) fta in english.

Stick it on for the kids while you find your keys in peace:D !

I'm also very new to this Sat. hobby so please forgive any stupidity!
I have updated my dragon can with Pred 3.11
Still unable to get Fox!
I thought that dragon loader card would update automatically, obviously wrong.
Do I therefore have to update keys manually to get Fox back?
Is there any tutorial as to how this done?
I have a technomate TM 5500 CIP+

Not familiar with Dragon Cam but maybe someone else could advise you.

Hi Treworder,
you have insufficient posts to receive PM's and I am unable to go into details on how to update your keys manually. If you do a search on the internet, or go to JKF site, you should find a guide on how to update the keys in the Dragon Cam.

I have been informed that my aston cam will decrypt S2 with a titanium or knot card is this the case ? I know nothing of cams and even less of cards, I have seen tit cards for sale, do you just literally buy one and it works forever or do you programme them and if they would work whats in s2 anything good ie films discovery etc

your problem sounds the same as mine was, have faith its easy when you have all these kind ppl to inform you of how...
your box is not the same as mine so i cant tell you step by step, but just find the cam section on your software goto what the cam is on mine its on predator 310 select debug then on mine its sucka 2 but it might be seca on yours (someone please correct me if im wrong) and finally 0070 sky italia and there are 3 lines of keys got to the turkey place mentioned above in this forum and enter the 3 lines on mine its just the numbers (echostar) 300ip
and the letters will sort themselves out above (hopefully)
any problems pm me or if not im me on yahoo...

hi-ive just invested in a dragon cam/loader (usb) to try and get extra spanish channels as cards are not available in uk. two weeks ago i had fox, axn, cinemania, discovery, documania, viajar people and arts cocina, fdf, cosmo and disney. These i got from phoenix predator v 310. a week ago they disapeared and dispite updates and now v311 i still cant find them.Ive tried manually entering codes from turkish site- i think its seca2 digital + but it doesnt work.
Any ideas.

I think you're talking about Digital + package on Astra, unfortunately they cahnged their encryption method and that package isn't open. There are still a good selection of channels available with the Dragon including a wide variety on Hotbird.

as you say thers quite a bit available, but i was hoping for more spanish.
weve still got tcm and paramount and of course the ftas.
