Fransat card and cam.

My Satellite Setup
Master Focus 90cm .Gigablue UHD Quad 4K on TM 2600 motor. *Tm 5402 HD M3, *Atemio Nemesis. *Not Used.
My Location
Southern England
Had an email from a seller based in France who I bought a Fransat card a couple of years back. Never did have much luck with it. He tells me that it is now possible to buy a Fransat card and cam. I did an Ooogle and found a couple of places in the UK but £138, almost as much as buying the receiver and card. But I also found a French company that sells it for £88 delivered. I wonder if "she" would like it for Christmas as she speaks French and likes the history channels they do.

Mmmm, difficult to answer that one but it is only a little extra as I already have her main present. Now you are making me feel guilty as if I was buying her a set of saucepans as a present.
 
Better a new cover for the ironing board then! :-rofl2

Came today, quick for a delivery from Europe by standard post. Unable to read French so will wait for my personal translator before I use it and screw it up for some unknown reason.

I dunno why you are buying a card, some of the fransat channels on 5w are FTA, If you live along the south coast of England you can easily get french terrestrial tv with a TV aerial which will also allow you to pick up belgian tv which is also french (mostly). There's also swiss/french tv on hotbird which I can get very cheaply, message me for details.

If you've already bought everything maybe you should bare this in mind for when it runs out. I live in Bournemouth too, give me your address and i'll give you a whack with your saucepans :D metaphorically speaking, je ne parle pas francais.

oops forgot about that, M6 Suisse fta on 10e and also theres some FTA african french channels on 7e (pretty rubbish though)

To late now but it would take me a day to run the coax from my den to the roof with a new aerial. Next summer I am fitting a fixed dish with 2 extra cables for satellite and I can think about it then.

Thanks but her in the front room read it out to me and told me I can alter the language to English on the cam. Now just have to see if I can get one of the previuosly scrambled channels.
 
Is there any official Fransat receiver that support unencrypted ts recording ?

Can anyone help me to configure card and emu for Openbox SX6 since official module doesnt work here?
