Can we please get used to the correct names. Freeview is only available in the mainland UK as it's the terrestrial system i.e. through the ordinary TV aerial. What you are talking about is Freesat and possibly Freesat from $ky (FFS). FFS is a Digibox with a card supplied by $ly so that you can get a few channels that are FTV (Free to View) but not FTA (Free to Air). A Digibox is only supplied by $ly - it's their trademarked name. All other receivers are only receivers. $ly do make a box which will record to an internal disc - it's called $ly+. Unfortunately, unless you subscribe to one of their packages, the recording function will cost you £10 a month subscription. If you stop subscribing then your recordings become unavailable to you. Which brings us to proper Freesat. The Freesat PVR is now out and, as mentioned above, is also capable of HD - there is no Freesat PVR with a lesser specification. Freesat is not quite the same as FTA. A Freesat box receives FTA channels but it also receives the special Freesat EPG (Electronic Programme Guide). This means that it has a full 7 day programme guide - an FTA receiver will only have now and next information. I don't have personal eperience of Spain but I agree that it looks like 1.5m should be big enough for you. Perhaps someone closer to you could confirm. Don't forget that in Spain they measure size vertically so you will need to be careful to check that the horizontal measurement is actually 1.5m when you buy. Also don't forget that you will need two leads from the LNB for a PVR so you will need a quad to be able to supply this.
