Hi Guy's.
I have recently had some strange events with my Freesat 4K Recorder. I have unfortunately become wheelchair bound and my Freesat randomly switches off for about 15 seconds. It also happens when my wife passed with the ironing board. I have tried switching Freesat off and have Freeview active on the TV, but nothing occurs.
I'm quite puzzled. I live in an apartment building so we are on a communal satellite if it is relevant?
Any ideas please?

My guess would be a failing hard drive or power supply but I'd contact Freesat support and see what they have to say.

Thanks for your reply Ozumo.
I will do as you say and contact Freesat support.

Try plugging in your Freesat receiver to a different power outlet. The one you are currently plugged into may be over loaded. You mention an iron. Plugging that in or switching it on could be a clue.
