I understand there are few free HD channels being broadcast on Freesat at the moment.Am I right in thinking all I need to recieve them is a dish pointing at astra 28.2,a quad lnb,and a HD Freeview box..?(+ obviously a hd tv)
Does the quad lnb need to be a special one to recieve HD,or will any one do?
Also Ive heard that it may be possible now or at some point to recieve freeview HD via an aerial,is that true?

Yes, that is correct, a HD Freesat receiver and a dish pointed at 28E will do it. Although you don't need a quad LNB, a single will do. It depends how many other receivers you want to run from the same dish.

Forgot to say, there is nothing special about an LNB for HD. Any universal LNB suitable for your dish will suffice.

ok thanks, one other thing..Im confused about what sort of reciever I will need for this, and also there seems to be a big difference in price between the different possible recievers.A "HDMI Digital set top box" retails at around £30,but,a "Freesat HD digital box",starts off around £100.
Will the cheaper one work for HD Freesat?

you will need the freesat hd receiver which means it has a hd tuner and hdmi connection compared to the set top box which is sd and has an hdmi connection but no hd tuner therefore not capable of showing hd .
