Has there been a date for Freesat Italia to start broadcasting yet?

Are you referring to Tivù ?

If so, I believe it is scheduled for 31 July.

Sulla nuova piattaforma digitale satellitare i telespettatori potranno vedere via satellite 10 canali Rai: Raiuno, Raidue, Raitre, Rai4, Rai Gulp, Rai Gulp +1, Rai Sport +, RaiNews24, Rai Storia e Rai Edu 1; 7 canali Mediaset: Canale 5, Retequattro, Italia 1, Iris, Boing, Boing+1 e Mediashopping; La7; Sat 2000 e tutti i canali free internazionali.

Anybody got any new News about Tivù?

Allegedly due to launch today, but as far as I can tell it is conspicuous by its absence.

Channel changes have started - many of the RAI scrambled channels have been withdrawn from Sky Italia and moved over to Nagra 3 scrambling on different frequencies, so yes its launched sort of..

Even assuming the existing FTA Rai offerings remain for the medium term, I'm inclined to treat SWMBO to a Tivù Box (I do wish I'd chosen a User Name that doesn't need Alt 151 so often .............. O-st).

Must keep an eye open for Ryan Air seat sales @ £1. Her Italian Family live near (ish) to Rome so we can nip over, grab a Box/Card and do the Vatican Museum (Only major "attraction" we've not done yet, owing to Eternal Queues).

Well I would not have thought you would be having to type your user name in anywhere , you could however just refuse to answer questions about Italian TV

I'll make a guess that you aren't using a laptop without a numeric keypad either!

É correto ............. :)

Psst: I see Analoguesat didn't take the Alt 151 hint and left the accent off at Post #7 ................ or perhaps he's just too sensible !
