Is Tandberg activated on the 11306H as well as on the 12607H?

Just checked, 11306H is still FTA

thanks,
and NIT same as 12607H ?

Sorry I don't have a pc card, I don't think any of my receivers show that information

I can upload a short recording of the whole transponder in one .ts file if it helps?

There is nothing on the 12,604 H frequency, although it has a signal.

The channels of frequency 11,306 are open.

Screenshots :)

Just noticed that Freeview versions of some UK terrestrial channels are on Astra 2G at 11608H. My Sky HD box doesn't support the 15480 symbol rate and on my Technomate HD receiver I'm getting sound but no picture due to encryption.

I'm in the UK next month, if I wanted to receive these channels which Freeview satellite box should do the trick if these channel stay on European beam?

Any help appreciated.

You say Freeview but then say euro beam? No Freesat or Sat stb clears those channels, they are encrypted in tandberg

Unfortunately, you won't be able to get a consumer receiver for these as they're not designed for end-user reception.

They're temporary feeds for the terrestrial transmitter network because of the Bilsdale transmitter fire last year (they're to feed temporary terrestrial relays). The equipment at the terrestrial sites will have professional decoders to decrypt the Tandberg encryption in use before transmission. FTA versions exist on the UK beam (11307H) but presumably these will be switched off and replaced with these new encrypted versions on the European beam.

You may have more luck with these on 27.5°W (also terrestrial feeds), which would require a ~90cm dish in Austria for all the BBC channels, plus ITV/C4/C5 in HD. We can't talk about how to decrypt them but as you can see in the thread, it's possible with receivers like the TM5402.

11306H has been turned off. The switch may have been last night as there was problems with the D3&4 channels from the Thirsk relay. The Europe beam is a fair but weaker up here so there will be less rain margin, as well as needing 0.8dB more for lock.

Sometimes the 27W group are unencrypted.

You mean the 27w Biss channels?

my message was about French TV (on 5w) and how to follow the French open if you receive French DTT or 5W beam(the multistream one)

If you click the link it takes you to the intended post. For some reason the forum software clips the first post on the page rather than the post the link points to.

For example here's a link to your post:
