freezing

Motorised Dish,Technomate TI-5400 CI+USB RECEIVER
My Location
Cheshire
whils watching football on my dream box 500 it started freeezing and to get it back I have to re-boot a couple of times,is this a fault on the box ???
 
I could be a couple of things first thing to check your ECM times download cryptview via the downloads and use this via the yellow button to see if the 500 is clearing. Also a reflash is never a bad idea every once in a while

Thanks Chris, not sure I understand the ECM bit as I am only a novice.
 
Have you tried cleaning the card ?
