FTA Gems

Some of the new fta Ukrainian channels on 13E have English sound!

11219H
Fox
VIP Comedy
Nat Geo Wild
TV1000
TV1000 Action

10853H
Animal Planet
Discovery
Eurosport 1 & 2
Setanta Sports +
History

Viasat Sports has a soundtrack listed as English but just had the ice hockey arena noise with no voiceover so Im not sure whats on that one. The other soundtrack was carrying Ukrainian voicover

The sports channels are a nice addition.

:-applause

Are these channels from a subscription package transponder that's gone FTA or are they new? The video quality on the sports channels is poor - the frame rate in particular.

The SD versions of W have gone FTA on 28.2°E prior to launch on Freesat & Freeview:

12129 V 27500 W & W+1 (2F UK beam)
11082 H 22000 W Ireland (2G Europe beam)

I know these are in fact FTA but when I tried this evening, Define OS on the sf8008 didn't scan them in on both blind and TP scan which I thought was odd.

On the Edision Primo (OS is similar to Define) only W+1 scans in with the correct label, W (UK) is shown as CH6520 & W (Ireland) as CH50355

All scan in as expected on the ol' Openbox V8S.

They don’t care about any broadcasting rights
for showing fake/drama wrestling

Looks like the Swiss 3 channel package on 12598V (33E) has disappeared.
