FWP Multiboot Gemini 1.06 Freezes

I have downloaded and installed the new Official 1.09 image and installed it and set up multiboot via usb key with flash wizard 5

everything works well apart from when booted into Gemini 1.06 using Scam to view m6 Rock or tps the picture freezes and I have to reset the cam or change channel and change back.

I am using Scam 2.5b which I think may be the problem

No other cam that I have tried will open multivision or tps
Anyone else had this issue ?

what did you have in flash when you tried to multiboot?

you need a 109 image in flash for this to work properly.

The brand new stable (supposedly) 1.09 official dream multimedia image is in flash

I downloaded the tpscrypt file from i-have-a-dreambox so newcamd could open tps and multivision but it's the same.

Also tried just gemini 1.06 in flash but same problem
Is anyone using scam v2.5b and having a problem with freezes ?
Is anyone experiencing freezing with this new gemini image ?
Is it possible to downgrade from 1.09 to 1.08 ?

I'm going to try a downgrade using flashwizard and see if that will stop thing freezing

I did have an 108 image on the flash when i loaded the Gem106 on multi boot but had very slow and sticky performance so i loaded it as flash using scam 2.5b with no probs, newcamd did'nt work for me. I'm sure you can simply load a 108 image back into flash.

I think that the jury is still out on whether the official 1.09 and the Gemini 106 (and other) '1.09' images are using all the same internal components.

You can be sure however, that if there are any incompatibilities, then the boys from IHAD will fix them faster than you can say "Gemini 107".

Several different CAM/key combos should open TP$ if they're set up properly.

I say 'should' as I'm still on 1.08.2 and just going on what I've read elsewhere.

personally, i cant even load gemini 106 or the new Hydra image on to the dreambox multiboot menu???

everytime i try, while its still transfering in FWP the DB locks up...meaning i have to cnrl+alt+del the FWP and end task...
then 3 finger the DB too

i have downloaded the image from different places and tried it all about 9 times

ive give up...lol
im back on 105 i know when im beaten....

Installed Hydra Phoenix and everything works fine so I 'm just going to wait for a new version of Gemini.

I was very unimpressed with Phoenix but will have to use it for a while.
