Hi all, I called in morrisons the other day and they had conifers on offer £1.62 each, so I thought I would just put one in the middle of each fence panel, I do hope they don't get that disease they can get.

Thank you Clown man, it has been hard work, but all the hard graft is done now, I still have a fair bit of work to do, but that will be mainly wood work and installing my dish, then on to the front garden and drive .

Yes I must agree Ray, I am trying to keep the cost down as much as possible, up to now I've spent,

£20 lawn seed eBay nearly a full sack,
£17.82 11 connivers Morrison's
£20 20 shrubs and heathers Morrison's
£30 30 Privet hedge homebase

So I don't think I am doing bad, without mentioning two new fences, but we did go halfs with each neighbour on the fences.

Advise on planting the above please, it says on the packet plant in February when the danger of frost has gone, well we are still having the odd frosty morning but it not as bad as it was 2 weeks ago,

I was speaking to a chap in the pub yesterday and he says plant them 4 inch down and they will be fine ? any advise please.

You can make your own greenhouse by potting the seeds, sticking them on the kitchen window ledge and covering the pots with pint glasses lolol

B+Q or Wilko do the little plastic greenhouses for a few quid too (think A4 or 2x A4 size tray with a clear plastic roof)

Some of them need protecting or digging up and putting in the greenhouse. It's not all fun.

It keeps me out of trouble......
