You can edit the bouquet using your handset. It is something like Info > red button > edit bouquet > enable move mode. Select the channel to move etc. Give it a try ;)

Almost setup but no pictures yet.

Quick note, Im using the gemine 2.2 image which I downloaded to my 7020 Hdd with FWP beta 3. Works a treat and I would recommend it. I manually installing Emu, used a all-in-one download which allowed my to see the Emu's via the blue button. I'm stuck at this point replaced the .xml with an updated one but still pictures.

Can someone please pm me with the missing link, i have read the idiots guide but just can't complete the task.

Hi Ziggysat

I'm unsure as to what stage your at. I've got the Gemini 2.2 on my 7020 so if you can let us know what stage your at it would be easier to help
Have you done a scan of the satellite and got the unable to scramble message ? If you have scanned a satellite and can select the emus then you need the keys. Go to the ihad site and get some and then load them the same way as you loaded the emus.
If your still stuck let us know and we shall help you. I know its a nightmare at first but it's worth it in the end.

That is eactly where I am, downloading the keys but as i used the all-in-one for the emu, I put them in var/tmp (from memory) and hit the blue button. So do i do the same with keys nothing to do in scce directory or .xml file. Can you give me a few more glues to that website.
Ps at work so can't receive pm's right now.

Cheers

The keys go into var/scce or var/keys, depending upon the emu that you use.

I have installed IHAD gemini tool, the information for keys has a button for "Showlist" which on clicking I selcted a file which I had manually downloaded to my pc earlier, on clicking open file I got a message downloading file. The message never got to load more than 5% but also never showed any error message.

The upsum is no success, and is the normal message fromat.

Is there a guide for IHAD software in english as this seems like a very useful tool if only I can get my head around its capabilities, whats all that camd3 info mean for example.

Anyway baby steps for me how do i open up the capabilities of the dreambox.

Goodnight catch you tomorrow.

Hi ziggysat
There are many methods to load emus and keys and as there are also different images and box owners giving advice so it gets complicated. and it depends if you have internet connection or not. I don't so I get the files and load them manually on to the box. It's safer.
Here's what to do for a 7020 with Gemini - it works.
From the "I have a dreambox" website goto the database and down the list you will find emu, keys and config for all dreamboxes. Goto the one you want (try camd3.810 first) get the emu, keys and config files. So now you have 3 files all with the extension tar.bz2. This is the extension that Gemini uses
FTP these three files into the var/tmp folder on your dreambox. No need to change attributes
Then press the blue button on the remote and under addons goto manual and load the three files.
Reboot the box
Press blus button again and select the emu you've just loaded.

It's difficult to load emus, keys and config files from other sources (and some have viruses) so only use the IHAD website for starters.

Good luck. I'm here if you need more help

Thanks guys for ur help.

I’m up and running, the Dreambox is a beautiful thing and I can say happy dreaming now.

I read the post on emu’s today regarding the tar.bz2 files so some new territory to try at some point.

One last note for the frustrated and confused, I was using Astra at 19.2E and only when I moved to hotbird 13E and hipsat 30W (temp setup with someone else’s motorised dish) did the beauty of the box come alive.

For newcamd6.3 check that there is a link from var/tuxbox to var/scce. Otherwise load scce to var/tuxbox/. Regards.
