tonight/tomorrow, though cloud is - naturally - predicted for the majority of the south / north / evening / night / morning / tomorrow etc

Well the moon is also a factor , but after an hour of peering at the sky, nothing, nada.
 
Relatively clear here atm ...but when 'zactly is the peak ..
Still not very well and dont want to risk too much time in the cold this close to Christmas..
 
Peak was last night, but you might get clearer skies tonight, though I wouldn't do it myself
