RIP Gene...there can't be too many moon landing astronauts left...
 
I really hope those glory days return soon. Manned space exploration and deep-sea exploration are still the Holy Grail, but these days we seem more concerned about how many carbons are floating around the wotsitsphere.
 
I prefer the title, 'he visited twice', but this appears to have been lost in the soshal meedya instagrams upon the revalation of Mr Cernan's departure to a better rock.

Oh dear, another passes away. I also wondered how many are now left that have walked on the moon (I looked it up - 5).
